As you may have already noticed, the XML Feed now contains the full post instead of just the intro.  Unfortunately though, there appears to be a Youtube issue where the videos disappear in some readers but show up in others.  If you know what the deal is then please email me!  Now, let's move onto Colour Revolt and their upcoming album, Plunder, Beg And Curse.  I only vaguely remember their self titled EP that was put out in 2006, but it's nice anyways to see them making a return with looks to be a really nice set of indie rock gems.  Expect to see it delivered to store shelves by Fat Possum Records (also home to the Black Keys, Fiery Furnaces and Townes Van Zandt) on the grand day of them all, April 1.  Enjoy.

:Colour Revolt - Naked And Red:  "Eden is a hell of a place."  This is a great song, but just so you know the steadily-increasing tension in the relentless arrangement and passionate vocals will have you feeling a bit exhausted by the time it's over.   But you know, what better to get you through hump day than some tricky indie rock that softly lures you in, and then proceeds to head butt you.

There are a ton of great live clips of the band on Youtube, but I decided to go with this simple piece that's been set to Mattresses Underwater, which pretty much sounds like Cursive, Athlete and Modest Mouse put together.  You'll probably like it a lot.
