Well, the two teams that I thought might be capable of beating the New England Patriots were sent home yesterday.  Both the Indianapolis Colts and the Dallas Cowboys played sloppily and pretty much assured that Tom Brady will be named King of the Universe after he throws 12 touchdowns in the Super Bowl.  Bummer.  On a more positive note, Del The Funky Homosapien has readied a new solo effort (his first since 2000's Both Sides Of The Brain).  It's called The 11th Hour, and since Del is one talented artist I would be very surprised if it didn't turn out to be one of the year's first snazzy hip hop releases.  Definitive Jux will be putting out the entirely Del-produced disc on March 11, so mark your calendars.  Enjoy.

:Del The Funky Homosapien - Bubble Pop:  "Why do you think that you are all that/Cuz you ain't."  Not only is this simplistic line fun to sing-a-long with in a taunting fashion, but it pretty much sums up the playoff performances of the Colts and the Cowboys.  Weird how that works out, right?  Anyhow, apart from the song's lyrical prowess it also happens to be absolutely raucous as far as the music goes, so feel free to thump it as loud as possible the next time you're at a stop light.  For once others will appreciate it.  I promise.

I'm not sure that all of you know that Del has been doing this for a really long time, so I hit up Youtube and found a video for one of this older songs called Mistadobalina.  I hope you're ready to go old school.
