Originally, I was going to do the Top 25 films coming out this year that I thought would turn out to be good. But, being in the first part of the year when studios generally dump all of their crap I thought that maybe it would be a better idea to point out 20 movies worth seeing in the first 4 months of 2008.  Hopefully, it will help you avoid being tricked into seeing something really lame.  Read On.

PS - I'll do another one of these for the summer, fall and winter releases when they get a bit closer.

- Five You Should Avoid For Sure -

In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale
In Theaters - Now

I like Jason Stratham, but this just looks retarded.  Plus, it's an Uwe Boll film.

27 Dresses
In Theaters - January 18

So what does Katherine Heigl do after gaining some respect for her work in Knocked Up?  She throws it out the window with what looks to be a sappy, bland piece of nothing.

Postal
In Theaters - February 1
This is another Uwe Boll film. Enough said.

Jumper
In Theaters - February 15

Not even Samuel L. Jackson is going to be able to save this flick that stars Anakin Skywalker as Nightcrawler.

10,000 BC
In Theaters - March 7

This actually has the potential to be fun, but you will have to get past the fact that everyone in 10,000 BC somehow speaks perfect English and knows how to deal with large, computer generated animals.
