Since we all pretty much had a blast yesterday flashing-back to when Earth, Roots & Water were doing it and doing it well I figured that we should keep the vintage momentum rolling at least one more day.  This around though we're only going back two decades and it's all about rock-a-billy's very own Flat Duo Jets.  The influential act formed around the mid-80s and before they broke up in 1999 they released numerous albums for a slew of independent labels until inking a deal with a major late in the project's existence.  The main brain behind the music, Dexter Romweber, never necessarily ruled out a reunion of sorts, but aside from that actually happening I'll say the Two Headed Cow soundtrack and its 17 unreleased gems from the band's early years is good enough.  Enjoy.

:Flat Duo Jets - Never No More:  As I said yesterday in regards to reggae/dub, I won't claim to know much about this genre of music.  However, I can note that cranking this tune up and throwing on your Elvis face is a pretty damn good time.  Well, that and being able to clearly see why an act like the White Stripes would say that this band had was such an influence on them.  It's crazy, but you can actually rock out and learn at the same time.  Run and tell your neighbors!

Here is an actual clip from the Two Headed Cow music documentary that was made in 2006.   I think it's rather interesting to hear why Dexter makes the music that he does, so I certainly consider the piece a must-see.  Watch it now!
