Have you guys seen this stuff about Lost only getting five more new episodes this season?  I realize that everyone is tight on time and doesn't want to sacrifice quality for quantity, but I don't understand why three more can't be written so that the original story arch can be completed.  Strange, right?  Anyhow, allow me to note how I've quickly become a huge supporter of Apes & Androids.  Before this weekend they were an act I only knew by name, so when they're upcoming full length, Blood Moon, arrived in my inbox I had no expectations at all.  Now, I'm fairly certain that if they showed up on my doorstep and asked me to help them run for President that I would sign up without pondering it for a moment.  Seek the record out ASAP.  Enjoy.

:Apes & Androids - Nights Of The Week:  Of all the music that I've heard so far in 2008 I think this is probably the sexiest song that has graced my ears.  It drips with love for 80s new wave, but not so much so that you feel like they're an act that's never listened to anything else.  There is a lot going on that pays tribute to anything that's ever made you move our sit up straight in your chair.  Saying it's impressive would be an understatement.

Holy Crap.  Just watching 30 seconds of this video of them performing Put Your Hands Up makes me want to drive wherever they're playing tonight so that I can see what looks like the most fun live experience ever.  I mean, they have cheerleaders!  Who does that!?
