Hey! I've got a new
Ghostland Observatory remix available for download over at Austin Sound.
I'm actually beginning to wonder a bit if the duo settled for something
that's essentially just a different version of Paparazzi Lightning,
but that could be nothing more than my brain working overtime. Check
out the post here.
On an equally interesting note, today I'm sharing Tapes N' Tapes' new single
from their upcoming full length, Walk It Off. The album is one
of the few due out in the coming months that has an incredibly huge sticker
slapped on it that reads "potential sophomore slump," and I think the
reaction to the disc will be almost as interesting as the songs that are set
to occupy it. Fortunately for the band, the gem below is definitely a
good start. Enjoy.

'N Tapes - Hang Them All:
I don't know why but I was under the impression that the
band would maybe try to tone it down and simplify things.
Wrong. Or, at least that's how I feel when I listen to
this song and its odd rhythm, curious guitar work and
inspired vocals. It's actually looking more like
they'll deliver something bigger and more grand than anyone
imagined. Snazzy.
Somehow I've
never actually seen this video that was made for Insistor,
which is honestly rather hard to believe considering that
the song is probably my favorite off of The Loon.
Weird.
