If you like having a good time and/or happen to be in the Austin area then I recommend coming out to the Beauty Bar tonight for La Snacks, Transmography and Prince Klassen.  We could hang out and probably become best friends forever, which is neat.  Speaking of good buddies, I believe that's how I would describe today's artist, The Plastic Constellation, as all four of the guys in the band have been hanging out and creating music together since high school (the late 90s).  On April 15 they'll be releasing a new full length via Frenchkiss Records titled We Appreciate You, and I think it has the chance to be one of the better rock albums in 2008.  Although, I should point out I wouldn't expect anything less from an act that's been going as long as this one has.  Enjoy.

:The Plastic Constellations - Stay That Way:  Simply put, this gem's mix of huge crashing drums, relentless guitar work and energetic vocals are a great way to end another week on the planet.  My advice is that you turn off your brain, pick up your air drums and then crank this up louder than your neighbor would normally approve of.  They're going to want to hear this too.

Here is some great footage of the band looking so very lively during a song called Iron City Jungles that I'm almost tempted to run out in search of a good old fashioned rock show.  You know, the kind where you violently throw your head around and repeatedly pump your fists in the air.  Yeah!
