Can you guys believe that SXSW
is less than 40 days away!? If any of you are planning on being in
town then you have to make sure that you shoot me an email so that we can
have a drink. Or some spaghetti. Speaking of things that demand
a certain level of excitement, I have brand spanking new Man Man today.
The Philadelphia-based act offered up the first taste of their new record,
Rabbit Habbits, over at Pitchfork yesterday, and it instantly blew my
mind. I mean, I was mostly interested to hear what the upcoming disc
was all about, but I certainly wasn't anxiously waiting for Anti- to deliver
it on April 8. That, of course, has changed, and I can now consider
myself overly pumped up for that special date. Enjoy.

Man - Top Drawer:
Before you listen to this I want to make sure that you know
there is an 93% chance that by the end of it you will be in
nothing but your underwear. Also, it's possible that
at some point in between the insanely catchy vocals and the
raucous arrangement you will paint your face and down
multiple alcoholic beverages. I know not if you'll
approve of such actions, but as I sit here frazzled and
curious about where my pants are I'm all about you going for
it.
Why hasn't
someone pointed this video out to me before? It's
incredible----ly weird. Though, I have to say that I'm
not surprised of the bizarreness that Jeremy Mayhew created,
as I'm sure the left field wonky-ness of the song that is
Banana Ghost tricked him into imagining such things.
