Just so you know, my quips have recovered from what I will call an album delivery issue and are back up and going over at Austin Sound.  The latest is about the Ars Supernova, and you can see it here.  Now, let's talk Quitzow.  The duo, who are named after singer Erica Quitzow, have a new album on Young Love Records titled Art College and a short tour planned with Setting Sun.  And who exactly are Setting Sun?  Well, they're a quintet that just so happen to be fronted by Gary Levitt (the other half of Quitzow) and backed up by Erica Quitzow.  In other words, these two are each other's musical support.  I'll have a song from Setting Sun in the podcast this weekend, so while you wait for the days to pass jump below and check out Quitzow.  Enjoy.

:Quitzow - On TV:  "We can have a good time baby/We can have it all for free/We can tie a rope up and then hang ourselves on TV."  Lyrically, I wouldn't say that this exactly shoots out the kind of sunshine that will make the masses feel better about themselves.  However, the quick strike pace that's set by the pulsing beat and various electronic touches will certainly get people moving enough that they don't mind.  I'm cool with that.

This is called Fish Hook, and it's absolutely nothing like the song above.  At all.  In fact, I had to double check about 27 times to make sure it was even the same artist.  Their shows must be a rollercoaster of sounds.
