Did you guys see that TV On The Radio and Annuals released new singles this week?  They, unfortunately, aren't available for me to share, but I thought I'd make you aware so that you could give them a listen.  Let me know what you think!  Speaking of thinking, my mind has been working overtime since I moved out to Austin to figure out what people love so much about White Denim.  I still don't have a reason, but with every show that I catch and with each new single that gets sent to me I find myself growing ever more attached.  Who knows?  Maybe one day I'll actually figure out the exact reason for everyone's fascination.  Anyhow, the song below is from the upcoming Explosion, which will be out on November 3 via Transmission Entertainment.  Enjoy.

:White Denim - Sitting:  As I shuffled through the band's press release I noticed that a few of the words used to describe their sound include: blues, punk, psychedelic, dance, pop, effortless and not simple (and this was before I even got to the press quotes).  Now, to me none of that makes sense, so for SOTO's purposes I'm just going to say be ready to hear a nice bit of quirky pop.  Better yet, prepare to experience the trio at their most playful.  That's right, even with a back catalog packed with spastic garage-rock tunes that inspire hip-shaking shenanigans, this catchy/playful number manages to be more light hearted.

Here's a video that was officially made for the catchy tune that is Let's Talk About It.  There's a bit of story in the piece, so if you like having more than just live footage you should check it out.
