Just so
you know, I'm still working on the piece that I
mentioned last weekend. Hopefully this week
will be time friendly enough for me to get it done.
Here's the update. Read on.

The Rundown -
As it turns
out, Simon Pegg Will not be in Inglorious Bastards.
In other Inglorious Bastards news, Samm Levine
and Mike Meyers have been cast.
Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince has been
delayed until July 19, 2009.
Paul Greengrass will not be directing the Chicago 7.
Scheduling difficulties were cited as the reason.
JJ Abrams is reportedly writing a script for a movie
based around an earthquake.
Edwin A. Salt, which is a spy thriller scripted
by Kurt Wimmer, was suppose to star Tom Cruise.
Now things have changed, and it will feature Angelina
Jolie. Expect a title change soon.
Speaking of Tom Cruise, reports are that has signed on
to appear in Food Fight, which is about a snooty
chef that has to cook for children. I'm thinking
he should have went with Edwin A. Salt, but
whatever.
McLovin (does anyone really care about his actual name?)
has been cast in Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of
Kick-Ass. He will be the villain known as Red
Mist in the superhero flick.
Steve Carrell and Tina Fey has signed on to star in
Date Night. They'll be playing a married
couple.
Phillip Seymour Hoffman is in talks to be in Jack
Goes Boating. He may also direct the movie
about two stoners that fall in love.
Some think that Billy Bob Thronton might be Freddy
Kruger in the upcoming remake.
Sony is supposedly thinking about doing a Candyman
remake.
