I'm hoping to catch screenings of Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder this week, so keep an eye out for reviews of both.

- The Rundown -

Word has it that a Green Lantern movie is actually in development over at Warner Bros.

Disney has delayed the Prince Of Persia from 2009 to 2010.

Rumors are swirling in regards to villains for the next Batman flick.  The latest are Angelina Jolie as Catwoman, Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin.

Speaking of Johnny Depp, he has been cast as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's take on Alice In Wonderland.

Sony has stated that they are interested in developing a Venom spinoff.

Keanu Reeves is being rumored for a role in the live action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.  On a side note, is there ever a week where that guy isn't up for a part?

Mike Meyers has officially begun writing a fourth entry into the Austin Powers series.

2 Guns is now under development over at Universal.  The graphic novel that it will be adapted from is said to be a sort of throwback to the action buddy films from the 80s.

Daren Aronofsky's take on Robocop will apparently not be a new entry into the series, but an actual reboot.

Ridley Scott's Notthingham has been indefinitely postponed because of script issues.

Samuel L. Jackson has let it be known that he wants to be Nick Fury in as many flicks as Marvel will put him in.

Martin Campbell has signed on Robert De Niro to star along side Mel Gibson in Edge Of Darkness.

George Lucas recently admitted that the last Indiana Jones flick was difficult to make because everyone's success made them hard to work with, and Spielberg himself wasn't enthusiastic.  I call lame on Lucas throwing everyone under the bus.  Who's with me?
