You know, there are quite a few
great shows set to take place over the next few days that I would really
love to go to, but I don't think I'm going to make any of them. Too
much work! Anyone got a few million bucks that I can borrow forever?
If so that would be great. If not then I guess I'll just keep giving
out the goods, and by that (well, today anyways) I mean new CSS (or Cansei
de Ser Sexy if you prefer). For whatever reason I have this strange
thing with this group where I always dig the singles to no end and
then never bother to check out the probably stellar albums that they come
from. Hopefully, that will all change with the upcoming Donkey,
which will be out July 22 courtesy of the vaunted Sub Pop. Enjoy.

- Rat Is Dead (Rage):
As with all of their other singles, this is as catchy as can
be. Though, you shouldn't take that as a sign that
every part of it is exactly like what you've heard from them
before. The sound is geared more towards mid-90s rock
instead of their usual, albeit fantastic, dance-enthused
ways, and because of that I think the songwriting carries a
bit more weight. You know, because guitars are
serious. And stuff. Anyhow, I highly doubt all
of the new album will be like this, but if it was I
certainly wouldn't mind. They make for a surprisingly
good rock group.
I was going to
go with the controversial piece for Music Is My Hot, Hot
Sex, but I figured that the majority of you had probably
seen it. So, I went back a little further for an
official video for Let's Make Love And Listen To Death
From Above. I don't know why, but watching it
makes me really want to hang out with the band.
