Anyone else stay up way too late playing Grand Theft Auto IV?  I did, and I'm totally paying for it now with a complete lack of energy.  Being a nerd can be difficult, sometimes.  Speaking of things that aren't easy, I have some instrumental music for you ears today.  I know the genre is hit or miss with most people, but I think you'll dig the new Russian Circles.  They're more in line with the likes of Pelican and Isis, so those of you who are impatient don't have to worry about waiting for half a day for a climax.  Station is the name of their sophomore full length, and it's due out on May 6 over at one of my favorite labels, Suicide Squeeze.  I highly recommend that you mark that day on your calendar with a big red X.  Enjoy.

:Russian Circles - Harper Lewis:  I hate to say it, because it's so very cliché to do, but this one hell of a ride.  A lot of instrumental acts start out slow and beautiful for 25 minutes before finally building to a climax, but these guys spend their time flowing back and forth and allowing each part of their sound to shine.  Sure, that pretty much means their making songs without words, but what's wrong with that?  It is OK to not be Explosions In The Sky.

My favorite song off the band's last record was Death Rides A Horse, so I made sure to seek it out on Youtube for your viewing pleasure.  It isn't an official "made for the song" kind of thing, but it does have a a bunch of shots of the guys performing live.
