It isn't too often that I feel the need to go ahead and immediately post something up for you guys, but that's how I felt last night when I got an email with the first song off of A Thousand Shark's Teeth.  For those of you that don't know, that is the upcoming sophomore effort from My Brightest Diamond (aka Shara Worden).  I thought her debut was an amazing listen, and of the numerous times that I've seen her perform live there has never been a moment that hasn't knocked me on my ass.  In other words, I'm excited.  The new full length, which was produced by Shara herself, won't be out on Asthmatic Kitty until June 17, so I'll certainly have the gem below on repeat for the next two months.  Feel free to join me.  Enjoy.

:My Brightest Diamond - Inside A Boy:  It might just end up being me, but I'm really happy to hear that Shara didn't try to change a whole lot.  Her voice is still hauntingly beautiful to the point where every word that comes out sounds stunning, and the music is that familiar mix of heavier moments nicely blended with pretty details.  Sure, I guess you could say that she has gotten better at each of those elements, but at the end of the day they aren't wildly different.  I'm OK with that.

Most of you have probably heard every song from Bring Me The Workhorse a zillion times at this point, but here is a remix of Magic Rabbit by Alfred Brown that you might of missed.  It's a pretty interesting listen, and the video that it's set to is quite beautiful.  Good stuff.
