Why is it that people are so interested in pictures of people on set?  I know the weekly rundown isn't meant for rants, but I can't take anymore headlines that read "Bond Rides A Bus!"  It's beyond stupid, and I want it all to stop.  I mean, is it not enough to just watch a trailer to see what might be in the film?  Are we that starved for information?  For someone that sits in front of a computer a lot it's hypocritical of me to say it, but people need to peel themselves away and go do something else for a bit.

At any rate, here's what you came here for.  Read on.

- The Rundown -

Proving that maybe, just maybe, Oliver Stone's W movie is nothing but a big joke, Rob Corddry has been cast as former press secretary Ari Fleischer.

Justin Lin noted that he would like to do a fifth Fast And The Furious movie.  The fourth, which is currently untitled, is set for release next summer and is about Vin Diesel and Paul Walker teaming up and going undercover to avenge Michelle Rodriguez's death.

Jake Gyllenhaal has reportedly been offered the part of Dastan in the proposed Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.  This comes on the heels of a rumor, which has now been squashed, that said Orlando Bloom had gotten the part.

Bryan Singer's Valkyrie has once again been delayed.  The other time it was from June 27 to October 2, and now it will supposedly hit theaters in February of next year.

Denzel Washington and The Mataese Circle have found a home in MGM.  The story will revolve around two rival spies in the Cold War that are forced to work together.

Dario Argento has added Adrien Brody to his cast for Giallo, which is about a flight attendant who teams up with an investigator to find her missing sister.

Colin Farrell signed on to star in Triage.  The plot will follow a photojournalist dealing with why he returned from a dangerous assignment without his colleague and best friend.

Despite rumors that she would not be starring in Robert Rodriguez's remake of Barbarella, Rose McGowan has stated the she is in fact all signed on and ready to go.  Now if only her man could get the budget down.

The forever-delayed MEG has taken a small step towards coming out of developmental hell with the help of Apelles Publishing, who have optioned the rights for the tale of an 80-foot prehistoric shark on the rampage.

No matter what you've heard, the Vin Diesel-centric Babylon A.D. is not having 70 minutes cut.  That rumor began as misunderstood joke by the director, Mathieu Kassovitz.

It would appear that another Austin Powers movie is currently underway, as Gisele Bundchen is being rumored as the love interest.

Zooey Deschanel and Chloe Sevigny have signed on to appear in Divorce Ranch.  The film will be set right after WWII and will deal with a woman (Sevigny), her son and her assistant (Deschanel) trying to marry a wealthy man so that she can quickly divorce him and gain residency.
