Why is
it that people are so interested in pictures of
people on set? I know the weekly rundown isn't
meant for rants, but I can't take anymore headlines
that read "Bond Rides A Bus!" It's beyond
stupid, and I want it all to stop. I mean, is
it not enough to just watch a trailer to see what
might be in the film? Are we that starved for
information? For someone that sits in front of
a computer a lot it's hypocritical of me to say it,
but people need to peel themselves away and go do
something else for a bit.

The Rundown -
Proving
that maybe, just maybe, Oliver Stone's W movie is
nothing but a big joke, Rob Corddry has been cast as
former press secretary Ari Fleischer.
Justin Lin noted that he would like to do a fifth
Fast And The Furious movie. The fourth, which
is currently untitled, is set for release next summer
and is about Vin Diesel and Paul Walker teaming up and
going undercover to avenge Michelle Rodriguez's death.
Jake Gyllenhaal has reportedly been offered the part of
Dastan in the proposed Prince Of Persia: Sands Of
Time. This comes on the heels of a rumor,
which has now been squashed, that said Orlando Bloom had
gotten the part.
Bryan Singer's Valkyrie has once again been
delayed. The other time it was from June 27 to
October 2, and now it will supposedly hit theaters in
February of next year.
Denzel Washington and The Mataese Circle have
found a home in MGM. The story will revolve around
two rival spies in the Cold War that are forced to work
together.
Dario Argento has added Adrien Brody to his cast for
Giallo, which is about a flight attendant who teams
up with an investigator to find her missing sister.
Colin Farrell signed on to star in Triage.
The plot will follow a photojournalist dealing with why
he returned from a dangerous assignment without his
colleague and best friend.
Despite rumors that she would not be starring in Robert
Rodriguez's remake of Barbarella, Rose McGowan
has stated the she is in fact all signed on and ready to
go. Now if only her man could get the budget down.
The forever-delayed MEG has taken a small step
towards coming out of developmental hell with the help
of Apelles Publishing, who have optioned the rights for
the tale of an 80-foot prehistoric shark on the rampage.
No matter what you've heard, the Vin Diesel-centric
Babylon A.D. is not having 70 minutes cut.
That rumor began as misunderstood joke by the director,
Mathieu Kassovitz.
It would appear that another Austin Powers movie
is currently underway, as Gisele Bundchen is being
rumored as the love interest.
Zooey Deschanel and Chloe Sevigny have signed on to
appear in Divorce Ranch. The film will be
set right after WWII and will deal with a woman (Sevigny),
her son and her assistant (Deschanel) trying to marry a
wealthy man so that she can quickly divorce him and gain
residency.
