It has taken me far too long to get back into the swing of things over there, but my quips have started up again at Austin Sound.  Just the other day I did one on an indie rock grouped named All Hail, which can be seen here, and later on this afternoon I'll have one up on the always great Shearwater.  Give them a look if you have a moment.  As for here, I have something new from the Little Ones, who are an act that impressed at last year's SXSW.  How's that for a quick follow-up, right?  Anyhow, the Los Angeles-based quartet have readied a new EP titled Terry Tales And Fallen Gates that they'll be releasing themselves next week, and they're currently out on the road with Ra Ra Riot.  You're in for a treat if you've never heard these guys before.  Enjoy.

:The Little Ones - Boracay:  While the majority of indie pop that carries any sort of bounce tends to make me think about strolling in the park on a nice day, this gem actually strays into the realm of straight up beach vibes with its playfully lazy guitar riffs and soft vocals that slip out lines like "We didn't want to put up a fight."  My only problem is that I don't live anywhere near an ocean.

Here is an incredibly creative video that was done by Terri Timely for a track titled Ordinary Song.  A lot of the more memorable pieces that I come across these days are usually animated, so it's nice to see something different.
