Halo 3 comes out tonight at midnight.  It will be awesome.  If you would like to join me in an effort to finish the fight then message me, Renholder, on Xbox Live.  I'll be up all night kicking Covenant ass, so do it whenever and we'll team up to save Earth.  Now, if that didn't indicate how big of a geek I am then my reasons for sharing Do Make Say Think will.  The experimentally inclined instrumental band from Toronto, Ontario have a record titled You, You're A History In Rust that I think has some stuff on it that's a good fit for those of you who will be sitting around in line tonight.  Hell, maybe you can even drop by your local record store and pick up the Constellation-released effort on your way to get Halo 3.  If not then don't worry, you won't mind this on repeat.  Enjoy.

:Do Make Say Think - The Universe:  Usually I'm more about the slow-building instrumental bands of the world, but I really like how this one just jumps straight into it and makes you quickly decide whether or not to go on the ride that it's offering.  That kind of relentlessness makes the already urgent filled arrangement of crunching guitars, frenetic drumming and sweeping violin seem all the more overwhelming.  It's beautiful and wild.

I've never had the pleasure of seeing these Canadians live and in person, but watching this video of them performing Reitischule really makes me want to run out and inquire as to where they're playing tonight.  Well, maybe tomorrow night.  Halo 3 is tonight.
