First of all, let me apologize for not putting up a podcast on Saturday.
I intended to put a show together, but once I got home on Friday and settled
in from work I just couldn't shake the sleepiness off enough to get it done.
I sincerely hope the absence of my voice in your head didn't bother you any.
Now, in order to share the music that was suppose to be in the podcast I
have an EP today. Enjoy.
BTW, did any of you catch 3:10 To Yuma over the weekend?

- When I Say Go:
This isn't meant to take anything away from the other songs in the EP, but I
guarantee that this lush, upbeat number will be the first thing that you
revisit. Though, you won't do it because it's something you've never
heard before. It's simply just too damn catchy to not do so.
Cold And Kind, the band's new full length, is due out in early October
on Parasol Records.

Loup - We Are Gods! We Are Wolves!:
I stumbled across this band over on My Old Kentucky Blog late last week and
instantly fell in love with their synth-filled, atmospheric ways. So,
who are they? Well, they're apparently a seven-piece from Washington
D.C. who have a new album titled The Throne Of The Third Heaven Of
The Nation Millennium General Assembly. Bizarre, but good
nonetheless.

Band - Hallie:
I've been a fan of this band ever since I got my hands on 2005's amazingly
brilliant The Loving Sounds Of Static, so my expectations for their
upcoming full length are beyond high. Fortunately, this little
electronic gem has me convinced that the disc just might end up being better
than the group's debut. As of now, the new LP, Heaven, is due
out October 2 courtesy of Misra Records.

- Him:
If the more electronic/synth sounds of the first three bands on the EP
weren't your thing today then this group's swirling rock ways may be a
better fit, especially if you're looking for something that's instantly
accessible. They're second LP, Catherine Avenue, is set to drop later
this year on Love Minus Zero Records. Has anyone heard their debut?
I would like to know if it's as good as this.

Orange And Her Band - You're My Home:
There's a little bit of everything going on here, but it all works together
well enough to make for good listen, which can actually become a great
listen if you have a nice pair of headphones to pump the vintage jam out of.
I have no idea as to what should be expected of the band's self titled LP,
which is out now on K Records, but I think it's worth checking out more.
