Holy Crap!  Things looks as if they are going to get crazy next week on Lost and I can't wait to see what the writers are going to leave us pondering until 2008.  Anyway, let's talk about the release that you know deep down is one that you are most looking forward to later this year:  The Go! Team's currently untitled LP that is due out in September.  The first single, which I have below, popped up on the net earlier this week and I almost put it up yesterday, but I wanted to share the EP.  Plus, I kind of needed a moment to let the track sink in.  I don't know why, but the avant garde pop group never gets me on the first listen.  I think it may be due to the fact that the guilty pleasure part of my brain is freaking out with excitement and slowing down the common sense part.  Enjoy.

:The Go Team - Grip Like A Vice:  "Do you want to rock the house and turn this mother out?"  Nothing has changed here, the band is still channeling an overwhelming amount of positive energy that is obviously meant to get the asses shaking.  So why did it take me a moment to love it?  Well, I think they still have various times when they feel a little too much like a novelty, and even though they make it work like nobody's business, part of me would like to see them making more of an effort to slowly move away from it.  Still, does it get more fun than this?

If you love all of those bizarre music videos from the 80s then you are in for a treat with what has been created around a song from the band's last album, Thunder, Lightning, Strike, titled Ladyflash.  I highly recommend that you watch this thing at least 3 times.
