:65daysofstatic - Don't Go Down To Sorrow: You know that Explosions In The Sky album you've been rocking for the last few months? Well, I think this is better than at least half of it, and I love that disc. These guys have really figured out a crafty way to take the electronic side of their sound and tone it down by making it a more integral part of the song. Before their use of it was a little erratic, but unique, so I didn't notice it too much until now. This is proof that it's all come together for the group. Prepare to be impressed. :65daysofstatic - When We Were Younger And Better: I wouldn't consider this quiet, but the arrangement does have a lot of subtle details that are placed together in a way where it doesn't sound like the band set out to be overly loud. In fact, I find it to be really impressive that they could take so much energy and mold it into something that's complex and beautiful, not cluttered and chaotic. Be sure to grab your best set of headphones if you want to fully experience this badass mother.
