A good friend of mine is a complete sucker for sweet sounding pop vocalists like Feist and Regina Spektor.  Now, I am not sure if she has ever wondered what the two of them would sound like if they somehow produced an offspring in the depths of Switzerland but today I have exactly that in Heidi Happy.  The Little Jig artist, whose real name is Priska Zemp, has only been making music since 2005 but she has been around the stuff her whole life.  Her mother is a classically trained soprano, her father sings in choirs and her siblings each have their own projects.  Clearly, she had absolutely no option other than to sound great on her new album, Back Together.  I'm not exactly too sure when it drops but it looks as if it will be out in early April.  Enjoy.

:Heidi Happy - Back Together:  Vocally you aren't going to get anything here that you haven't heard before, but there is a pretty sweet melody floating around in the background that allows it to be a little bit unique.  I also really like the little vocal harmony parts that come in and out, I think they give the song a sunny day on the beach type of vibe.  Slap on smile and take a stroll with this in your iPod.

:Heidi Happy - Can't You Decide:  This is a stellar song.  I love how the music creeps along with a dark and lush sound that serves as a perfect compliment to Heidi's attitude filled vocals and the harmony parts that come and go a la Back Together.  I have to admit that this one was a pleasant surprise, especially since I was only expecting perfect little bubblegum pop songs from her.  This is highly recommended.
