Last night I went down to the Parrish mainly to see Peel open for the White Ghost Shivers and Lions.  Peel put on a nice 35 minute set that did well in leaving me wanting more, but the real highlight of the night were the White Ghost Shivers.  I think they may have put on the most wild show I've seen all year; it was incredible.  Now, none of their Youtube videos had them rocking as hard as they did during their set last night, but I did find a pretty cool video for the song My Land, which showcases their style and attitude.

:SOTO - Episode 24:  This week: news and notes, a comment on MTV's worst upcoming albums list, and a whole lot of great music from Bat The Lashes, Alex Dupree And The Trapdoor Band, The Phantom Family Halo, The Coathangers, Donnie Hue And The Colors, and The Brunettes.  It's all sure to totally blow your mind.  Enjoy.
