It would be near impossible for me to tell you how excited I am at the possibility of moving to Austin this summer.  I think that town has one of the best music scenes in the world and to be in the middle of it would be great, even if it meant that everyday I would just end up either sharing Austin artists or live reviews with you.  Anyways, a good example of the quality of music that is out there is the quartet that I have for you today, The Always Already.  The band is fresh off the release of their self titled EP for Complicate Everything, and are currently touring around Texas, presumably blowing people's minds.  I am totally in love with the EP and I am excited to see what they have in store for us in the future; maybe I will just ask them myself at this year's SXSW.

:The Always Already - Kinetic Hillsides:  I really like how this is pretty much done in the style of At The Drive-In but instead of rocking your face off with ferocious punk they decided to use Casio keyboards to accomplish the same thing.  I especially appreciate the high level of energy that is put into the vocals, it really brings home the fact that the band is having a blast and doing all that they can to inspire you to join them.

:The Always Already - I Am Electric:  To be honest this is not too different from Kinetic Hillsides.  I mean the spot on use of synth, the dance worthy beat, the crafty guitar work and the energetic vocals are all here in full force with the only difference being the lyrics.  Here is the thing though, I frankly don't care.  This song is a blast so download it and feel free to dance like there is no tomorrow.
