Quickdraw: Crumb, St. Vincent, Reigning Sound, Damien Jurado, Packs

Enjoy.

Crumb – BNR / Balloon

The always-hypnotic Crumb have followed up last month’s single with a pair of new tracks, both of which are great. No word yet on the band’s sophomore album, but I imagine it’ll get announced soon.

St. Vincent – The Melting Of The Sun

This new one from St. Vincent has an almost classic rock feel to it, which is a little weird, but it works. Daddy’s Home is due out May 14.

Reigning Sound – Oh Christine

I really love this new song from Reigning Sound – it’s such a delightful mix of country, folk and pop. The band will release A Little More Time with Reigning Sound on May 21.

Damien Jurado – Tom

Unsurprisingly, the latest musing-filled number from Damien Jurado has quickly won me over. His new album, The Monster Who Hated Pennsylvania, is set to be released on May 14.

Packs – New TV

Here’s another slacker rock gem from Packs. The band’s debut, Take The Cake, is due May 14.

The Reigning Sound track is very fun. I love the album title and the retro font on the promo materials.
