Kiwi Jr. just announced a new album – Chopper will be out on August 12. I’m digging the Strokes-esque sound on the first single here. By the way, if you didn’t check out their 2021 release, Cooler Returns, you should.

I don’t follow Ty Segall near as much as I used to, but this slow burner of his did manage to catch my attention. Segall’s new album, Hello, Hi, will be out on July 22. Also, if you’re in Austin, he’s playing the Mohawk on June 18.

Ian Sweet – Fight

Ian Sweet has a new EP that has a title – Star Stuff – but no release date yet. While that develops, jump on this swirling single.

Launder – Become (Featuring Soko)

I’m all about this shimmery and shoegazey effort from Launder (with a vocal assist from Soko). His debut album, Happening, will be out on July 15.

Interpol – Fables

For whatever reason, this is the first of Interpol’s 2022 singles that’s actually stuck with me. Maybe I should revisit the other ones? Anyhow, the band’s impending LP is titled The Other Side Of Make Believe and it’s due out July 15.
