Here’s a very sweet and endearing little number from Smokescreens. The band will release A Strange Dream on October 30.
Mr. Gnome – Gold Edges
I believe this infectious number puts Mr. Gnome at 2/2 when it comes to singles off of their upcoming album, The Day You Flew Away (due out October 16). Can’t wait to hear the whole thing.
Thurston Moore – Siren
Considering it’s called Siren, I assumed that this new one from Thurston Moore was going to be a pretty noisy affair. Nope! It’s actually a totally serene track. By The Fire is due out September 25.
Lo Tom – Outta Here
The new Lo Tom full length, LP2, is due out next week (September 11)! I think this upbeat single may be my favorite of the two released so far.
Total Revenge – Jeep Cherokee / The Fair / The Lawn
I’m getting in late on Total Revenge, who are set to put out their self titled debut this Friday. All of the singles are lo-fi gems!
