P.T. Banks (Album Premiere)
P.T. Banks is a new venture from Paul Banks that also features Christopher Cox and Matthew Shepherd (both spend most of their time with Feverbones and Dana Falconberry), and I’m excited to be premiering a full stream of their debut album, Moonlight Is Sunlight. The Austin-based trio have created something that’s soulful and inspired, and I think you’re really going to dig it. Enjoy.
Moonlight Is Sunlight is due out this Friday. The band’s album release party is this Saturday at Stubb’s with Tinnarose and Lomelda.
This guy’s voice… outstanding. PT Banks just replaced some of the more notable artists that go by two initials. He’s now squarely in front of K.D. Lang, BB King, and MC Hammer with both ZZ Top and JJ Cale within reach.
