Guys guys guys, there was a very real possibility today that I wouldn’t get this post in for S1T1 today because I’ve been crazy busy planning Austin’s very first ever hip-hop festival. Luckily, I’m turning it in right in time so I can cash that big fat blog paycheck John Laird sends me every month. Hold on a sec, John just told me there’s no money in blogging. I don’t understand? Why am I doing this then? Just so people can listen to new hip-hop they’ve never heard and rediscover old tracks they might have forgotten and just generally have a good ole’ Friday dance party at their desks?
