Okkervil River

I never really could figure out what to think of Will Sheff’s Lovestreams side project, so I’m kind of happy to see him getting back to business with Okkervil River.  The sort of Austin band will release a new album titled The Silver Gymnasium on September 3 via ATO Records.  Enjoy.

:Okkervil River – It Was My Season:  This is easily my favorite Okkervil River song since 2008’s Lost Coastlines.  The playful piano work is great, and Will Sheff’s vocals are as inspired as ever.  I hope all of the new album sounds this good.
